All in all, G. Kenneth Heebner, CFA, manages $4.7 billion in four mutual funds at CGM. In addition to the CGM Realty Fund, he manages the three other mutual funds in the Capital Growth Management stable--CGM Mutual Fund, CGM Focus Fund, and CGM Capital Development Fund, which is closed to new investors. He co-founded Capital Growth Management with Robert L. Kemp in 1990.
Heebner was a fund manager at Loomis Sayles and Scudder, Stevens and Clark before founding CGM. He has a B.S. degree from Amherst College, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
When he has some time off, Heebner likes to spend it on his sailboat, in Maine.
