SEC Investing Education Chief Resigns

Lori Schock leaves the Commission

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced that Lori Schock, the acting director of the Office of Investor Education and Assistance (OIEA), left the agency April 27 to become director of outreach at the Center for Audit Quality in Washington, D.C. Schock joined the SEC as a staff attorney in 2001 and served as special counsel to the director of the OIEA and deputy director before becoming acting director in June 2006, succeeding Susan Ferris Wyderko.
