Broker/Dealers of the Year, Through the Years
This is the 19th year that Investment Advisor readers have chosen Broker/Dealers of the Year. During the first four years of voting, the top five vote-getters, regardless of their size as measured by producing reps, were declared winners. Beginning in 1995, four divisions were created based on the B/Ds' number of reps, resulting in peers competing against each other. A statistical anomaly (since remedied) resulted in a fifth winner being declared in 2005.
