If retirement plans are on hold due to all that's happened, relax and light a joint. The Washington Post's Steve Hendrix (serendipity on the name?) writes of marijuana's growing acceptance.

"Is that a new attitude toward marijuana you smell? On TV, in the movies, in the law and inside homes ... a softening of opposition to pot smoking is wafting through the air. Whether it's empty nesters returning to the habit after the kids leave or law enforcement choosing to look the other way, something different is in the air."

Witness California's medical marijuana dispensaries that have cropped up recently and you get an idea of what Hendrix is on to.
