Is the Password Enabled on Your Mobile Device?

A simple but commonly overlooked security step is to enable the password on your mobile device. In the unfortunate event that your mobile device is lost or stolen, the last thing you want is for someone to be able to immediately make calls--or worse, access your contact lists and other stored information. Activate the password on your mobile device. It will at least slow down the crook who has nabbed it. This ultimately gives you time to contact your carrier to cancel or change your account.
